VV contest - Ashleigh, inks

I decided on a whim to enter Vulpine Vampiress's contest and quickly doodled this of her character Ashleigh. I also wanted to try out doing a Plasma Whip, so she's got one in her hand (though the whip itself isn't drawn in, as it's energy and I intend to do it linelessly in CG). This isn't the actual entry, mind - just a beginning step. I just decided I ought to upload it for no real reason other than to upload something.

She was a real trick to draw, despite looking through VV's gallery and scrapbook at the many pics of her. I'm not used to girls who are both busty and muscular (I'm not used to drawing either of those, really, and doing both at the same time is killer). I'm also not used to low-rider pants and having to worry about the actual hip bones themselves. But, given the fact that this is a first-time attempt at her, I'm pleased. She's supposed to look a little scruffy - she's a Wastelander mechanic/bounty hunter by nature, and I think she's in the middle of a fight (whoever she's up against, I pity. If they don't have Plasma Whip burns, they're gonna get a facefull of claws).
