Based on an E-mail I sent to Macman after watching the premier, in which I declared that Kevin had turned into Gwen's lapdog. Of course, since I'm slow to finish things, I already got beat to the punch on drawing this, but I figured since my idea was substantially different, I ought to go ahead and draw it.

If for no other reason than because Kevin on a leash is funny. :XD:

I had no idea what color I wanted to make the background, so I just left it transparent. Fullview for transparent awesomesauce.

Know what's difficult? Getting Kevin's nose to turn at that angle. Seriously. The artists get cookies for being able to pull off a unique nose (which is even difficult to do IRL - I think I've met one guy who had an unusually-shaped nose and was still moderately attractive), but it makes looking-up angles very, very hard...

Oh yeah. The hands were fun, actually, and I think I may have even managed to get them to look decent for once. Ph34r my now-1337 hand skillz.

I dunno; I never saw that movie. The characters are from Ben 10: Alien Force, and the situation is just my crazy extrapolation of the events of the pilot (and the rest of the series) where Kevin becomes quite protective of Gwen and does things just because she asked him to. He was all evil and stuff, and then she comes along and he's like, "I'll be good now...^_^"

Yes, the coloring was fun (the lines were a pain; I did them entirely by hand with the tablet skills I stole from j00 X3). For the leash, I was like, "What color should it be? Hmm...let's make it purple, 'cause Gwen's magic is purple!" :nod:

Nah, the big problem is that MoA is rushing the story. I like their plot and where I think they're trying to go with it, but they go too fast. Half the speed they've been using would be a good pace; as it is, they're going to get to the end of the story arc and the season won't even be half over. Unless they have something important planned for the later eps, I don't see why they can't slow down and let things develop more naturally.
