Since I got the entire Ed alphabet, I decided to make a font of it ('cause, you know, the real font used by the animators is like...impossible to find). So I downloaded the free trial of the Font Creator 5.5 from High Logic and used it to make an Ed font.
Mostly created for my own use (in my comic, especially), but also for anyone who wants to write in Ed-letters. The font contains all numbers 0-9, letters A-Z (capital and lowercase are the same), punctuation, accented letters including the combined "ae", and a bunch of fun symbols (you'll notice the male symbol is vertical instead of sloped; yes, I did that on purpose: I think it's silly that female points down but the male off to the side, so I changed it, because I can). Unless you write nothing but funky math symbols or non-English letters, this font should contain all the characters you'd ever need.
The Greek letters are everyone's symbols. Capital letters are circled and based on the alien version seen in Static, lowercase are plain and based on their gear (the difference is most noticable in Ed's). The lowercase symbol for Ol' Skool is taken from the bottom of his board and shoe. I thought it was cool, so I included it.
Oh, and the "dagger" symbol is Ed's Slammer.
Click the "download" button to download the GetEd.ttf file, then place it in your fonts folder (usually found by going to Start>Control Pannel>Fonts). Not sure if Macs will take TrueType fonts or not.
Get Ed and its font copyright Red Rover and Disney. This file copyright me.

Thanks for this, Sandy-dono.
The truth of the matter is, Mac OS 9 used their own TrueType format which was different from Microsoft's, thus making the statement questioning whether Macs can take...
I'll shut up.
By the way, when I was singing, I think you made a tiny mistake, you repeated a D where the G is suppose to be.
That's it: when my aunt and uncle have their kid, I'm going to teach him his ABCs in Progress City letters! Never mind that my uncle will think I'm even stranger than ever; my whole family is nuts anyway. XD
I can teach my baby cousin his ABCs with Progress City letter... forget 'bout him, the one that got held back for reading problems! If he starts writing the letters, it'll be "The Last Mimsy" all over again. "Sorry ma'am, but your son is having contact with aliens. We must take him to our secret hideout for study."
Where'd you find the illusive "Q"?
That's why you're the font maker. XD
Too awesome!
Then when he grows up, he can be just as confused as Ed is...
If he has black hair and blue eyes, he gets a second cookie.
