VWS - Very Wrong Scene. Sketch of a scene from Tuesday's ep. of CL (no ref shot). Yeah. Is it just me, or does that look SO WRONG? Seriously. (I could also make a play on words that would be so wrong it wouldn't be funny, but since the pun is in English and the show's French, I'll let it lie. Let's just say that hornets and a plot dealing with teenage relationships being in the same episode isn't quite coincidince...)

Got myself a decent ref pic of Ulrich's hair from the group shot wallpaper section at [link] It appears to flop to whichever side the artists choose it too. In one shot, it hangs left, and in the next, it slashes right (they seem to favor the right side a bit, though). So I seriously have no idea how to part it. Apparently, you pick a point, and that point is innately correct. So, finally got his blasted hair right.

M'kay, may I ramble here? Thank you. (rant in itallics; skip if you don't wanna read {contains spoilers for "Swarm"}) This episode was full of irony. First of all, there's the mysterious note given to Ulrich that's supposedly from Yumi. Then, the whole episode, she's saving his tail from hornet swarms (see above for wrongly-ironic implications). She tackles him not once, but twice, to keep them from stinging him. The first time, it almost seems like she was waiting for him. Then this second time, she tackled him through a doorway and kicked the door shut, thus resulting in this split-second scene you see here. The very WRONG scene you see here.

I have no clue how he ended up on his back when she jumped him from behind. Mid-air roll-over? They ought'a show these things in the action shots... Anyway, the next thing you see is Ulrich's viewpoint, then a switch to Yumi's in which Ulrich blushes, then back to Ulrich's (and Yumi is slightly amused/puzzled). She helps him up, and the episode continues. But, rather than turn this into a couple-hint rant and/or episode synopsys, I shall leave it at this simple scene explaination.

Done in pencil, because I felt the need to practice my pencil shading. Hands bug me, though. And the shoes are slightly off (I have trouble with extremities, alright?). Yumi's face should be looking more over her shoulder and less to the camera. Perspective is the #1 killer of artists...
