Based on a conversation with my mom and another woman. My mom commented on how "close" a teenage couple seemed, and I told her that I just didn't see the attraction to that part of marriage; I desire a companion, yes, and the emotional intimacy that goes with it, the sense of trust, security, and being loved, but my physical desires stop at cuddling. A friend of my mom's came up about that time and asked what we were talking about, then said that she wasn't sure how you could not be interested. This was my metaphor for her.
"It's kinda like being a border collie. When a border collie herds sheep, it behaves like a wolf, stalking and chasing after 'prey'. The difference is, the wolf intends to end that chase in a kill, while to the border collie, the chase itself is an end. Likewise, while most people look for a mate with the intent of actually mating, I look for a mate without the desire for the act of mating; I just want everything else that a relationship entails."
She told me I needed to write that down, because my brain is quite unique.
LOL, well, I have a lot of hair, but it's not exactly fluffy. XD
My cuddliness depends on my relationship to the person. If it's a guy I'm dating, then yeah, I like to cuddle, but the rest of the world better keep their hands to themselves if they like their fingers. I guess kinda more like a Canaan dog or Pyrenean shepherd than a border collie, then; they're more reserved with strangers.
